I am just starting out in this macrobiotic adventure and was happy to find this community. I hope this community isn't closing down, seems like there haven't been that many recent posts. I have so many questions...if this community is closing down can anyone recommend another place to go for help?

Hello, fellow macro person! Good work for having the guts to go macro. I hope you stay with it!

Yeah, this place isn't really that lively, is it? Cybermacro.com has a forum that's quite a bit more active than this place. There are a few really macro savvy people there that could probably answer any questions you may have.

Good luck!

if you ask questions the people who watch the community generally answer, but as far as regular posting about things goes, that doesn't really happen. I'd be happy to answer, to the best of my ability, any questions you may have about macrobiotics. So ask away!

Well, thank you. :) When you started macrobiotics did you just jump right in eating a full macrobiotic diet or did you do it gradually? I am starting out gradually, but can't help feel guilty over the things in my diet that I am learning are not the "greatest" things to be eating. I think one of my biggest trials is going to be ?sticking to it? while cooking for my non-macrobiotic family. I guess, any suggestions for a beginner would be great. At the moment I am reading all that I can and just experimenting with the whole grains. I understand this is nothing that is going to happen over night but I hope I am on the right path. Thanks for your help.
